To continue to meet the needs of our members, we update our group exercise schedule and pool schedules on a monthly basis. Please click the links below for printable schedules.
Group Exercise Classes
We offer a variety of group exercise classes. Classes range from low- impact cardio to high-intensity GRIT. There is something for everyone.
SENIOR FITNESS
Regular exercise can help older adults stay healthy and mobile. Our senior classes are specifically designed for those who want to stay independent and strong.

Y Homeschool PE
A PE program designed specifically for those who have decided to home school their children this year.
One to two days per week
a 10 week program
For members and nonmembers
Request a homeschool survey at the Y front desk to help us design a program perfect for your child.

YMCA Swim Team
An excellent way to build confidence and strong swimmers. For children 5 to 18 years of age. Swimmers will be placed in workouts according to age, strength, and experience.
Swim tryouts will be held Thursday, September 3rd from 4:30-5:30 PM.
If accepted onto the team, swimmer must have a family or single parent YMCA membership.
When auditioning, swimmer must be able to swim one length of the pool, any stroke, unassisted.
Fall/Winter 2020 swim season will begin October 2020. Swim meets for the 2020/2021 season will be virtual.
Kids Group X Fun
For kids 6 to 12 years of age.
Kids Pickleball
The fastest-growing court game in America, pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a solid paddle larger than ping-pong with rules similar to tennis. A fun game for kids and a perfect game for the entire family to play together.
Kids Line Dance
Stay active through movement with this fun dance-inspired class. Do the Hokey Pokey, the Cha-Cha Slide, or other popular line dances then show off your best dance moves during freestyle time.
Kids at Heart Yoga
A playful yoga class with visualizations designed specifically for kids. This class will help your child feel calm, centered, and focused by the end of each session.
Youth Fitness Program
For kids 10-14 years of age
Encouraging youth to be healthy and active is one of our main mission at the Ardmore Family YMCA. During our weight room fitness class participants will learn healthy lifestyle principles, fitness center etiquette, and safe lifting techniques.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal training can offer significant benefits to assist you in reaching your fitness goals. With personal training, the fitness program is designed specifically for you by one of our many certified trainers. With a trainer by your side, you will increase strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular health and fitness.

Partner Training
Work with a partner and reach your goals.
Group Training
A group of 3 or more may choose to work under the guidance of a personal trainer.
GRIT Series
30-minute high-intensity interval group training.
Pilates Reformer
A private one on one or a group training of up to 4 on the reformer to help improve your posture, develop strong core and flexibility, and help reduce back pain.

Aquatics
Water Class Descriptions:
Large Deep Water Pool
Deep Water Aerobics -
A low impact, full-body workout which incorporates aqua belts, water noodles, and water weights to help build muscle, endurance, and strength. Perfect for men and women of all fitness levels.
Small Warm Water Pool
Aqua Arthritis –
Gentle exercises are done in shallow water, focusing on the functional movement of daily living, range of motion, and gentle stretching. Although specifically designed for adults living with arthritis, this class is also excellent for beginning or returning exercisers and perfect for pre-surgery or post-surgery strengthening.
Aqua Plunge –
A low-impact, medium-intensity class for those with muscle or joint issues. Builds cardio and muscle strength as well as endurance and flexibility.
Splash for Fun –
A fun water workout designed to improve cardiovascular fitness and strength by using a safe, yet challenging, mix of walking/running activities and finishing with water volleyball games.
Aqua Blast –
Forty-five minutes of heart pumping, muscle strengthening exercises using a variety of pool fitness equipment. Each class ends with spirited water volleyball fun and finishes with gentle and effective stretches. Perfect for all fitness levels.
